Start Your Journey to Ireland

Our trip to Ireland was absolutely perfect, thanks to Shared Adventures and our wonderful travel planners, Peter and Nikki. They planned our entire itinerary down to every detail. I’m usually the one who organizes our trips, so it was a welcome change not to have to worry about a thing. They arranged everything—from our car rental and hotels to booking activities in each town. We truly loved every tour they selected for us, and everything went smoothly. They even confirmed our hotel reservations ahead of our arrival, which gave us great peace of mind. We were also pleasantly surprised by thoughtful gifts of chocolate waiting for us at our hotels—such a nice touch. The tours they arranged were incredibly helpful in getting to know each town. I would highly recommend doing a tour on your first day in each location. The guides shared so many hidden gems that you wouldn’t find on a typical tourist map. In Kilkenny, our guide from Shenanigans Tour was especially informative and introduced us to the Hole in the Wall Pub, which became one of our favorite spots of the entire trip. Another highlight was the Pints and Puppies tour outside of Dublin in Howth—a beautiful (and slightly challenging) walk along the ocean’s edge with absolutely stunning views. There were so many places we loved and so much beauty to take in. One of the best pieces of advice Peter and Nikki gave us was to stop whenever you see a sign for a scenic view, even if it’s not on your itinerary. That’s truly what Ireland is all about—unexpected beauty and unforgettable adventures. With their guidance and helpful suggestions, getting from place to place was easy and stress-free. The trip was thoughtfully planned around our personal needs and preferences, and it exceeded our expectations in every way.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Nikki and Peter who planned an amazing 10 day trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland for our family! Nikki and Peter made it seamless! The accommodations were perfect, activities were just right, and the personal touches added, including the note & chocolates waiting for us at our first hotel, and the check-ins to make sure we made it safely, sealed the deal! They are truly the best!! Nikki and Peter are amazing and easy to work with!! I don’t like it when I’m not in control of things, but it was easy to trust these two to take the reins! If you’re on the fence on taking the trip - DO IT! Thanks to Nikki & Peter, my husband and I LOVED our Ireland Adventure! It was our first trip to Ireland and we cannot wait to go back. We appreciated that they thought about the activities that would match our personalities and planned some great stops along the way. They certainly paid attention to our survey and the information we shared when we had our pre-planning call. Our highlights included Giant's Causeway, the Howth Hike, and Trad on the Prom. They contacted us when one of our planned activities was canceled due to weather and provided some alternative sightseeing stops. Utilizing the app to manage our travel made everything seamless.
